02 · Heat

Plant that matches the house, not the brochure.

Heat pumps, boilers, underfloor loops and radiators are one circuit. We size emitters to the fabric you actually have — then we set the controls so the building forgets we were there.

Example indoor set-point

21.0 °C

Example flow · 40 °C

01

Boiler installation and servicing

Condensing plant, flue routes that respect the neighbour, and a service that is a measured combustion check — not a sticker on the casing.

02

Heat pumps

Air-to-water systems with honest flow temperatures. Outdoor units placed for air, not for the first empty wall. Buffer, backup and noise treated as design problems.

03

Radiators

Replacement, balancing and the rare case where a column radiator is the right emitter. Output is calculated, not guessed from the old steel.

04

Underfloor heating

Loops on insulation board or in screed, manifolds that can be isolated per room, and a floor finish that the heat is allowed to pass through.

05

Smart thermostats

Controls the occupants will actually use. Zoning that matches how the house is lived in — not a default of eight rooms and a forgotten app.

06

Energy-efficiency upgrades

Lower flow temperatures, weather compensation, pipe insulation and the conversation about the windows we do not install. Heating work that pretends the envelope is perfect does not last.
